Advaid opened the door.. he introduced himself to advaid, and all the family members.. Mom knew he would come to collect his car and she would get a chance to see him.. they all had were havin a chat about this and that.. tea was served with toast.. it already was 5.. and mechanic hadnt arrived yet..

                                            
An auto waited outside, he thought the mechanic had come so he went to open the door.. n there she was getting out of the auto.. with so many bags.. n her sweet happy face.. he stayed at the window itself lookin her through it.. she hurriedly walked towards the steps.. ringin the door bell almost 5-6 times.. granny was reciting smthg.. n was a bit annoyed but, as she saw her grand daughter at the door.. she knew there’s nothin new with the door bell ringin..

“Mamma.. Dyadda.. Aduuu…. Naaanaaaaa a surprise for all of you… surprise surprise…”

She kept shouting in the whole house while swinging her ccarry bags.. n suddenly stood still as she saw him… may be his presence wasn’t a surprise for her.. it was more lik a shock.. she was quiet.. tryin to compose herself back to normal.. she kept the bags on the sofa.. n said, “hi.. you here..?”
“hii.. jus had come to take my car..”
“ oh yaa..”
“ was jus waiting for the mechanic to turn up..”
“hmmmm..”
he was waiting to hear that word from her.. he felt he knew her well..

they both realised that everyone in the room was curious to see how easily they had connected but both had denied anythg.. her mom asked,
“why were you shouting so loudly..? n wht are these bags..?”
“ ohh..” goin near to the bags on the sofa..

Tryin to hold her excitement she managed to say..
“I got promoted..!!!!”
Seeing at him.. she tried to keep her voice down.. not that she was bothered wht he would think of her.. but still..
She took out Nani’s gift, touching her feet.. she gave her the beautiful saree.. then lighting the diya in the small temple they had.. she placed the envelope she had received, givin her mom, dad and advaid their respective gifts.. she felt guilty for not havin anythg to gift him.. n he too was a kid sittin there expectin smthg from her.. she bought a Cadbury from the refrigerator and gave it to him, he felt he had won smthg.. n she jus was satisfied to see him smile..
